A document is a file
Workbooks and documents live in your project or a shared folder, in their own format. Saving writes the file; its branches and history are kept beside it.
Open a real XLSX or DOCX file and ask an agent to change it. Its edits go to a branch of the file. You see each changed cell or paragraph, then merge it into the file or discard it.
The review lists every changed cell with its old and new value, and its formula where there is one. Paragraphs are compared the same way.
Merge into main writes the file. Discard throws the branch away. Until then the file on disk is untouched.

Agents edit through typed tools, one operation per kind of document, and every edit lands on a branch of its own.
When someone else changed the file while the agent worked, the merge names the cells in conflict instead of overwriting them.
Files are written from our own document model, with no third-party code. Presentations open in a viewer and agents edit them through tools.
A task pane for Word, Excel and PowerPoint brings a session into the file you already have open.
The editor runs in a sandboxed frame of its own origin, with no network access.
We will show you an agent's edits to it, cell by cell, before anything is saved.
